HANNAH

Hannah pictured at Brixham URC

My name’s Hannah, and I grew up going to Brixham URC. I have been in Cambodia for two years, to work as a counsellor. I was counselling local people as well as charity workers and other ex-pats from around the world and training local people in counselling. Thank you so much for all your financial support (and other types of support). It really means a lot and I couldn’t have done what I’ve been doing without your support.

What next? I went back to Cambodia in January to continue the work I’ve been doing (counselling , teaching and helping to lead Living Well). Over the last two years I’ve been mostly living off donations from kind people but I’ve also partly been drawing from my savings which are now running out. I will receive a small salary from Living Well which will cover about one third of my total costs. I will need to raise support for the other two thirds. I am also changing my relationship category with OMF. This means that even though I will still have some accountability to OMF, my financial support will no longer go through them. Instead, people will be able to give either through stewardship (including gift aid) or directly to me.

Eat with Joy - Maize Seed Project

As it says on the bag carrying the donated seed maize,
“Jesus’ gift for you.”

The seed was donated by an organisation
driven by the love of Jesus
and is being distributed to those in greatest need
by disciples of Jesus
working in the British registered Charity,
Zimbabwe Victims’ Support Fund.
